Job Description:

The Core Configuration Business Analyst will be largely responsible for designing functional solutions to business requirements for the future state of Core Configuration. Major areas of focus include business and technical workflow designs, operational controls, compliance validations, reporting, and automation. In some cases, the role will include building and testing of configuration designs utilizing graphical user interface tools and direct database manipulation.

Act as a product SME Subject Matter Expert to answer questions from staff regarding current functionality, system inputs, process and outputs for the Mortgage Cadence Platform product.

Act as the liaison between the product owner and the Scrum team to define business requirements and collaborate in defining design options through a hybrid Agile methodology.

Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Quality Assurance and Application Support teams to implement software requirements and communicate system enhancements.

Apply mortgage software industry knowledge to help continue process improvement and team communication.

Generate SQL queries and research databases in order to verify and troubleshoot issues.

Manage deliverables for initiatives and adhere to Mortgage Cadence product development methodologies.

Extract detailed system requirements from user story scenarios and high level business requirements.

Conduct research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems.

Consult frequently with our internal customers to ensure a complete understanding of their needs and concerns.
