Job Summary
Gathers and distributes materials within the distribution center.
Core Responsibilities
Reads production schedule and work order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Adheres to all quality measures by accurately picking and communicating lot numbers and expiration dates.
Drives forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to production for assembly.
Performs daily equipment inspection and changes battery as needed.
Qualifying Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift experience preferred.
