Position Summary:
* Manages the flour milling operations at a plant that produces bulk and packaged flour and feed products
* Trains and develops process staff, optimize yields, moistures, capacity and product quality in accordance with budgetary parameters
* Develops and supervises capital improvement projects to be complete within scope, on time and budget
* Maintains records in accordance with established ADM policies and procedures
* Assists external departments as business needs arise
* Follows the Management Operating System to achieve established goals for all production related performance indicators
* Directly supervises plant personnel while reporting to the Plant Manager
* Proactively seeks and supports the plant goals and vision in accordance with ADM Millings strategic vision
* Bases all decisions, perform acts and personify self in the best interest on the company
Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for the efficient operation and maintenance of the plant and flour mill for maximum yield and productivity
* Models and reinforces all safety practices
* Trains employees and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Identifies reports, and achieves the highest standards in sanitation, safety recognition & practices, quality behaviors and food defense practices
* Maximizes plant capacities and yield KPIs
* Proactively engages in employee development, team building, and the continuous improvement of methods, processes and systems

The company operates through four segments: Origination, Oilseeds, Carbohydrate Solutions, and Nutrition. It buys, stores, cleans, and transports agricultural commodities, such as oilseeds, corn, wheat, milo, oats, rice, and barley, as well as resells these commodities primarily as food and feed ingredients and as raw materials for the agricultural processing industry.
The company also engages in agricultural commodities merchandising and handling activities; and activities related to structured trade finance, and import and distribution of agricultural feed products. In addition, it offers vegetable oils and protein meals; ingredients for the food, feed, energy, and industrial products industries; crude vegetable oils, salad oils, margarine, shortening, and other food products; and partially refined oils to produce biodiesel and glycols for use in chemicals, paints, and other industrial products.
