Position Overview
 

Driven By Uptime. Our focus is delivering Trucks and Buses that carry on the promise of being on the road and staying there. 

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our Parts organization with the responsibility of driving profitable growth for Navistar’s growing $2.5B Parts business.  

  These roles provide unique exposure to a dynamic marketplace and visibility across the enterprise.  As highly analytical positions, you will play a lead role shaping and implementing pricing for both our network of dealers and our National and Regional customers.   You will gain exposure to market-based wholesale and retail customer segmentation strategies.  Pricing Managers can support either the Wholesale or Retail aspect of the business. 

   Wholesale (B2B) Focused: 

Develops, evaluates, and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics. 
Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. 
Monitors an ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction. 
Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. 
Projects impact pricing changes, individual promotions, and rebate programs on revenue. 
Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization. 

Retail (B2C) Focused: 

Improving and implementing customer vocational and fleet size pricing strategies. and presenting Bid Proposals for National and Regional Account customers.  
Creating analytical financial reporting to be used by various audiences to illustrate financial impacts.  
Producing price files for analysis, data, or fleet system support inputs.  
Providing pricing data to Internal and External customers 


Basic Requirements
 

Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

OR

Master’s degree
At least 3 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

OR

At least 7 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience


Additional Requirements
 

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Financial Acumen, understanding financial metrics including Net Change, Gross Margin, Gross Profit, Percentages, and Variances, totals, extensions, and trends.

As of October 31, 2018, it had approximately 727 outlets in the United States and Canada, and 89 outlets in Mexico. Navistar International Corporation was founded in 1902 and is headquartered in Lisle, Illinois.
