The Senior Strategic Initiatives & Business Development Lead will be a portfolio role that touches all aspects of the DISH media sales business - Data, Product, Marketing and Sales Strategy Initiatives. This role will help form, validate and incubate key strategic initiatives, evaluate potential partnerships and build internal stakeholder relationships. The candidate will continuously work with business leads to identify gaps and develop strategy. This role is perfect for anyone looking to learn end-to-end working of a media organization with a functional focus on Strategy and Operations and all things Advertising Sales.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Strategy and Business Development organizations and also independently run ad-hoc projects to analyze and understand business implications of proposed decisions
Size up new opportunities, influence Ad products strategy, track and research industry trends
Influence product definitions and priorities. Be a thought leader and trend expert, helping inform product requirements and roadmap based on market research
Building sustainable relationships across the DISH org and more tactically - help build internal stakeholder alignment
Evaluate internal processes and identify needs and develop improvement opportunities
Help evaluate partnership opportunities and structure
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
Must possess strong strategic problem solving skills
Strong communication and client relationship skills; ability to publicly present ideas and share information
Effectively be able to switch between details and “big-picture”
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, external partners and 3rd party vendors

Proficient with G-suite, Powerpoint, Excel
4-5 years of relevant experience out of college. Preferably in Consulting, Strategy, Product or in Media
