POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, the Supply Chain Coordinator will support existing and newly developed Supply Chain processes, with a major focus on serialization initiatives allowing the company to remain compliant with DSCSA related regulations in the US. Working in partnership with the Quality Unit, this position is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance of DSCSA within the rfxcel system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking someone that can pay attention to detail that possess background in Quality Investigation, Process improvement experience, Supply Chain background, technical writing background, food industry experience may be helpful, degree with a writer background as talent will be conducting quality investigations and problem solving.
Acquire and maintain in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of product serialization, serial number management processes, track and trace, authentication regulations and industry standards.
• Apply DSCSA/serialization to Supply Chain Operations and Quality Management requirements.
• Support serialization implementation-related projects and participate in product launches.
• Guide and manage validation processes and issues between serialization work-streams.
• Develop risk-based validation plans and protocols for serialization-related software, SOPs and operational processes.
• Ensure serialization validation is appropriately documented.
• Investigate, create, report and drive progress on non-conformances and remediation's, including root cause analysis and implementation of both corrective and preventive measures.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of deployed solutions including SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Create, document and proceduralize standard work where possible.
• Hold CMO, serialization vendor, and 3PL accountable to responsibilities as they pertain to DSCSA and Supply Chain requirements.
• Assist the team with creation of change controls and end-to-end testing.
• Identify opportunities and support efforts to improve processes through continuous improvement and business process re-engineering.
• Integrate serialization progress and status into Quality Release process to ensure product is readily available to customers in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• 4+ years of relevant experience in related field and a BS or BA.
• BS /BA in a relevant discipline, e.g. supply chain, logistics, operations management, or similar is required. Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment.
• Previous experience with serialization and/or pharmaceutical packaging.
• Previous experience with rfxcel or other applicable application that focuses on Track & Trace requirements.
• Experience in managing detailed tasks within large projects and dispersed resources is preferred.
• Background across manufacturing supply chain and commercial operations is preferred.
