Job Description

Drive the market making and risk hedging strategy for the Trading Flow Structured EQ unit, seeking to maximize franchise and leverage in the product distribution to clients/ investors and portfolio results within the established risk limit. Encourage the development of tailor-made structured solutions, and their required risk valuation models, adapted to clients’ needs. Focus on promoting the excellence in the service offered to both internal/ external clients

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Trading Flow Structured EQ manager in defining the desk trading strategy focusing on meeting internal and external customers’ needs and complying with the risk and regulatory requirements
Generate recurrent income (leverage and franchise) in order to meet the revenue targets that are set each year in the Trading Flow Structured EQ unit and the Global Equity unit overall budget
Ensure that the trading parameters of the valuation models that manage the EQ Structured Traders are aligned to market risks and conditions
Carry out the daily closing processes, tracking the desk activity and main trading indicators (P&L, hit/ miss, leverage, etc.).
Take part in the development and improvement of the different electronic trading platforms, seeking to adapt the systems/ models to any operational and regulatory changes
Collaborate with other Equity Trading desks in updating the trading handbook, framework and pricing rules documentation
Monitor the Trading Flow Equity Flow Structured EQ desk activity, tracking main trading indicators such as P&L and hit/ miss ratio. Solve any problems and incidences, as required
Promote the bank's positioning within structured equity market as a provider of innovative and ad-hoc solutions for customers

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in equity trading role.
Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel is required.
Deep knowledge of markets with some experience in Latin American securities or currencies strongly preferred.
