PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES?
The SAP User Experience team defines how our users enjoy the interaction with our products. An intuitive and accessible operation across our product portfolio is a critical priority for SAP. We are now looking for you as a passionate Senior Equity Strategist to join us in thriving for a best-in-class, inclusive enterprise UX.
We aim for the decolonization of Design to foster equity and justice. You are a perfect match if you are skilled in participatory design, DE&I programs, liberation policy, or other areas in which you have established frameworks and tools to drive intersectional justice. You will help evolve our guidelines, frameworks, and tools towards inclusive design. You are passionate about diversity and social justice and systematize respective practices as both, an advocate and hands-on practitioner. You will work in international and multi-disciplinary teams across the organization. Support business, product design and development, and equity objectives by collaborating with functional area leaders and other internal and external DE&I stakeholders. The key to success for this position is a combination of demonstrated success in design for equity practices and passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop guidance, frameworks, and tools that shift the way our teams practice design, work with communities and partners, and prioritize their time - driving towards a more equitable design process and outcomes through our work
Benchmark best practices, identify next practices, and incorporate into best-in-class product experience
Make recommendations based upon assessment of research, analysis, and observations
Manage, drive, analyze, and report all metrics, budgets, ROE (Return on Engagement), reporting, and accountability for product equity and inclusion efforts
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Examples of writing, points of view, and/or projects that demonstrate experience with race, justice, and systems of inequality in the US and internationally
Excellent understanding of inclusive design and human interaction principles
Demonstrable experience designing and delivering programs to address issues of inequity
Experience building and managing relationships with external partners
Adept at synthesizing data, distilling complexity, and storytelling
Fluency in the human-centered design process
Cultural sensitivity, creativity, and resourcefulness
A passion for inclusive leadership and creative collaboration
Ability to work as a strong effective team player, committed to results, and solutions-oriented
Strong attention to detail, producing quality output
Superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and follow-through on projects
Outstanding service orientation, sense of urgency, high-level of personal integrity
Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations
Experience leading by influence
Strong relationship building and management skills with key stakeholders
Fluency in ASL a plus
Direct human-centered design experience is a bonus.
