Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Continuously take a proactive approach to all assigned tasks.
Demonstrate and exude professional etiquette in all daily agendas and communications.
Clearly convey necessary and urgent information via email, virtual meetings, and telephone.
Exhibit sense of urgency and superb multi-tasking skills.
Thoroughly research accounts and successfully communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure all orders are examined for their completeness of information.
Ability to read and interpret prescriptions, account notes, and clarifications taken from the Clinical Team.
Confirm all accounts insurance, demographics, HCP, and general information for accuracy.
Proficient in calculating correct dosage volumes, quantities, and converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.
Oversee STAT orders from Data Intake through entering Fulfillment.
Maintains a neat, clean, and distraction-free workstation.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
Responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the safe distribution of medications and the provision of pharmaceutical care.
Requires Skills:
High school graduate or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in McKesson Data Intake
