Sales Support Specialist

Job Description

In particular, you will: 

Work closely with regional sales specialists in medical and technology segments to maintain and grow existing customer base.
Applications solutions-recommending the right product & grade for a given application.
Provide input on product sourcing and research of products with vendors for appropriate sources, including price and availability for sourcing follow-up.
Answer and respond to all incoming Spec Tech portal questions from external customers and internal inquiry
Manage @EAS Spec Tech Support portal
Oversee the RP process (and other SOP processes) within policy guidelines for the assigned geography.
Research and resolve conflicts related to the order delivery cycle; escalate as necessary.
Work with Spec Gas Coordinator and Management on recommended new product mix to meet customer requirement. Coordinate new product sourcing for customer fulfillment.
Take a lead role in identifying, analyzing and solving service issues
Provide training on specialty gases and chemical products, services and processes to customer service and peers.
Input and follow up on A/R issues as required.
Identify, qualify and pursue prospective customers that are new to the territory or currently buying products through competitors

Prepare effective sales quotes and proposals to prospective customers
Provide immediate response to sales opportunities as well as timely follow-up
Input of CATs as required.
Submission of customer contact pricing to the data integrity department as needed.
Perform a variety of other customer related duties, including but not limited to:

Sales and support
Assisting field sales in developing customer relationships.
Interact with other departments to coordinate deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Direct customer service for some specialized gas customers.

 Qualifications
 
Are you a MATCH? 

Bachelor’s degree, combination of education, work experience and relevant training considered
Five years’ experience in medical, specialty gas and technology segment sales required
Strong ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external customers
Spec Gas, Chemicals, Cryo, and Equipment product and market applications
