Job Description
An Encoding Technician I will possess a variety of technical and analytical skills related to video and video transfer process. They will be tasked with learning all operating processes for Encoding. Edit & update process sheets to confirm they match current processes. These processes include - Running multiple daily encode lists for Short form, Long form & Addressable. Managing media storages. Confirming connectivity with the numerous computer operating systems. Programming & testing Triggers. Creating & updating Encoding managed reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Learn all operating processes for Encoding.
Edit & update process sheets to confirm they match current processes.
Running multiple daily encode lists for Short form, Long form & Addressable.
Managing media storages.
Confirming connectivity with the numerous computer operating systems.
Programming & testing Triggers.
Creating & updating Encoding managed reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA in Video Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS
Basic understanding of video specifications and the video transfer process.
Familiar with commercial video transfer
Understand data driven systems and their integration.
Capable of critical thinking and problem solving
Comprehend desired technical requirements and ad sales infrastructure.
Experience in an ad sales organization is a plus.
Must be comfortable with aggressive schedules, as well as setting direction and priorities.
Experience interacting with external partners a plus
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Familiarity with Google Suite, video specifications, video transfer process, commercial video transfer is a plus, Vantage system is a plus
