The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Interface Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Perform implementation and configuration of the interface engines deployed to interface with 3M HIS applications.
Implementing technical solutions for 3M clients and delivering them in a fast-paced environment with short timelines.
Analyzing data and configurations for information extraction and technical issue resolution.
Understanding and working with diverse data feeds such as HL7, unstructured text documents, CSV, XML and others.
Collaborating with clients and 3M internal team members to meet deadlines for client specific implementation needs.
Keeping up to date with all new features, functions, business issues and implementation options. And contributing to the evolutionary growth of implementation infrastructure by developing and/or updating material, tools and programs.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree education requirement
Four (4) years of experience working with HL7 interfaces
Three (3) years of working experience with Linux/Unix and Windows platform
Two (2) combined years of experience working with Perl, Shell scripting, PHP, Python, XML and XSLT.
Two (2) years of SQL database experience writing database queries and/or SQL scripts for data mining.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Must be capable of maintaining superior customer relations in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-starter with strong written/verbal communication skills and strong organizational & documentation skills.
Must have experience in implementation and training for HL7 interface related products and processes.
Experience working with version control system like GIT or SVN.
Familiarity with cloud architecture like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
