As an EIT Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors (as needed) for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop detailed project plans, monitor, track and report progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Communicate internal and external messages, enacting one central point of contact.
Client consulting by coordinating Technical, Operational, and training assistance to optimize system utilization and efficiency.
Client/Executive relationship through liaisons with Sales and client’s management team
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of eight (8) years of equivalent experience in Health Information Project Management in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Five (5) years’ experience in Health Information and/or IT arena
Preferred Qualifications:
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Excellent educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
Proven working experience in project management in the healthcare / information technology sector
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent client facing and internal communication skills using written and spoken English
Attention to detail and outstanding follow through
Experience using collaboration tools to manage and communicate with remote teams
Excellent verbal, written, analytical problem solving and organizational skills
