Job Description

Receives and distributes technical service requests from Erie employees and other departments.


Reviews completed work orders and identifies additional requirements.


Works with project managers, construction managers and other departments as required in planning and executing projects.


Assists supervisor and senior staff with managing service vendors with research, scope of work, scheduling, and follow-up thru completion.


Primary operator of maintaining assets data, records, and reporting within our Computer Maintenance Management System.


Assists Supervisor with the collection of and maintenance of Energy Management data and providing detailed reporting.


Serves as the primary point of contact for their respective group.


Back-up for service coordinators within our group.


Develops Equipment Maintenance Checklist from manufacturer’s manuals and documentation.


Assists with the collection of and maintains technical resources.


Collaborates with Sourcing and Vendor Management to request and track purchases.

 

Supports supervisors and technical staff with administrative requirements.

 

Utilizes inventory system to maintain stock levels.

 

Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma, or equivalent.

 

Four years of related experience required.

 

In-depth knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, data base, and presentation software required.

 

Proficiency in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and correspondence formats required.

 

Facility Maintenance administrative experience preferred.

 

Knowledge of Computerize Maintenance Management Systems preferred.

 

Strong working knowledge of scheduling and planning projects preferred.

Erie Indemnity Company (Indemnity) is a publicly held Pennsylvania business corporation that has been the managing attorney-in-fact for the subscribers (policyholders) at the Erie Insurance Exchange (Exchange) since 1925. The Exchange is a subscriber-owned Pennsylvania-domiciled reciprocal insurer that writes property and casualty insurance.
