Job Description
As a Industrial Painter/Sandblaster for our Arizona district, you will contribute to our team by:
Retrieves and stores paints from storage supply
Prepares work area including: Masking, Sanding, and Barricading.
Knowledge of different types of paints or coatings such as; resinous, solvent drying paints, catalyzed or polymerized paints and knowledge of inhibiting coatings
Sandblast of structural steel and vessels to remove surface rust, mill scale or other impurities
Will use a Fresh Air or Full Face Mask and Tyvek Suits (PPE) to perform duties
Minimum 2 year painter and sandblaster experience.
Ability to operate and understand airless spray system.
Ability to operate and understand conventional spray pot.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, Product data sheets.
Ability to operate and understand sandblasting equipment.
Knowledge and experience working with the surface preparation standards SSPC.
Ability to operate a pneumatic DA sander, mixing drill etc.
Ability to read a tape measurer.
