What you will be doing

We are seeking a Manager, Wireless Transport Market Implementation to support the delivery of DISH’s nationwide transport network and provide connectivity to cell sites and data centers for our revolutionary 5G network. The successful candidate will hire, develop and manage a team of project managers and oversee nationwide transport implementation to ensure timely delivery. He or she will lead regular meetings with transport implementation specialists and vendors and assist market teams with problem resolution and vendor escalations as they arise.

In this role, you will:

Provide process and other guidance to market transport implementation specialists to better position them for success;
Develop and prepare management reports on transport implementation covering key metrics in the transport delivery process;
Support market leadership with hiring and developing transport implementation specialists;
Establish strong rapport within team members and support national practices that drive employee engagement and productivity.

Skills and experience

Ideal Manager, Wireless Transport Market Implementation candidates have:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and education; 
Five to 10 years of experience in the transport implementation and three years of management experience;
Strong vendor management skills and project management skills;

Experience or technical understanding of all the transport network functions/environment is preferred;
PMP certification a plus;
Knowledge of field or utility construction is a plus.
