Responsibilities:
Under the direction of a physician and in collaboration with the remote-monitoring team the DHNP demonstrates expert skill in the assessment diagnosis and treatment of complex medical problems across the care continuum through the effective use of a variety of digital health platforms. The DHNP integrates professional experience education and leadership experience to maximize care and promote innovation. Other duties as assigned. The Physician Assistant functions under the clinical supervision of a licensed physician provides diagnostic and therapeutic health care to patients. Obtains evaluates and interprets lab results; performs physical exams and therapeutic procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Summary: A minimum of 3 years of Critical Care Provider experience is required. A minimum of 5-10 years of Critical Care Provider experience is preferred. Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred. Experience working within the digital health environment/telemedicine (VICU (eICU) Virtual Clinic etc.) is preferred.
For Nurse Practitioners a Master's degree from an approved Acute or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program with certification which meets ANCC or AANP requirements is required. Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) in the State of Wisconsin is required. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment is required. DEA Registration is required.
For Physican Assistants a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies is required. Current State certification as a PA; current DEA. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required upon hire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration is required or must be eligible to obtain.
