In this role within the energy efficiency department, you will oversee the implementation and development of our residential efficiency programs in MA.

Your goals will be to increase customer uptake of residential energy efficiency services and offerings,  as well as improve customer satisfaction. This includes playing a key role in reducing the energy burden to our most vulnerable and disadvantaged customers. To accomplish these goals, you will manage and create energy efficiency programs that help single family and multifamily customers lower their energy usage and save on their energy expenses.

You will collaborate with external stakeholders and energy efficiency contractors, as well as internal partners from evaluation, marketing, and regulatory compliance to accomplish the aforementioned goals which also help to lower the state’s carbon emissions.

Reporting manager: Director, Energy Efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the delivery, implementation, and administration of the residential energy efficiency portfolio in MA.
Responsible for contractor management and oversight
Responsible for achieving specific Residential Energy Efficiency production goals, KPIs, and other company objectives within a defined budget
Provide strategic direction, coaching, and professional development for a team of Energy Efficiency Consultants and Administrators
Implements strategic initiatives to residential markets with energy efficiency services that provide customer-focused solutions and achieve energy efficiency market transformation goals
Coordinates with MA energy efficiency Program Administrator Utility partners,   as well as with Eversource CT and NH residential program leadership
Ensures efficient and effective coordination of energy efficiency inquiries between the Company and its regulatory representatives

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

Ideal candidate will have ten (10) years of experience managing complex projects/initiatives
An understanding of the regulatory process and environment, including the regulatory filing process 
Knowledge of residential and commercial building systems, general marketing principles and market research techniques 
Experience and ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written correspondence and presentations
Experience managing staff, preferred

Education:  

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience. 
Master’s Degree preferred.
