Job Description

How you will make an impact:

ANALYZE MARKETING PERFORMANCE ALIGNED TO BUSINESS STRATEGY (30%) – Develop, manage and use various tools to measure and evaluate the success of marketing programs, including writing queries, identifying data patterns and finding opportunities to improve effectiveness and ROI across various marketing campaign efforts.
REPORT CREATION AND MAINTENANCE (20%) - Create, modify and assemble Adobe Analytics (or other system) reports to satisfy evolving data requirements, primarily focused on measuring digital marketing campaigns. Ensure that reports and insights remain timely, accurate and relevant. Build user-friendly answers to basic marketing questions (executive dashboards etc.). Improve the presentation and communication of marketing analytics across the organization.
IMPROVE CURRENT MARKETING PRACTICES (20%) – Assist in the creation of baseline marketing KPIs and build processes to streamline measurement. Where possible, benchmark metrics against relevant standards and competitors. Develop and refine techniques used to measure engagement, conversion and trends for marketing efforts, including campaigns and ongoing programs. Identify and suggest optimization opportunities to appropriate executional teams.
DISCOVER AND QUANTIFY NEW BUSINESS OR MARKET OPPORTUNITIES (15%) - Leverage data to identify areas of growth through top of funnel expansion, mid-funnel conversion and optimal customer touch point strategy. Aggregate, analyze and assess data for strategic implications. Develop business cases for new opportunities to support strategic initiatives and opportunities.
OBTAIN CUSTOMER AND MARKET INSIGHTS (10%) – Assist in the development of useful customer segments based on profiles and behavioral data sourced from digital marketing activities. Then, based on collective Marketing Dept. decision-making, implement and improve segment and targeting models based on business goals. Work hand-in-glove with brand analytic and other analytic teams to develop and refine marketing personas. Use data mining and other analytical techniques to gain insight into customers to improve marketing effectiveness.
MANAGE PROJECTS THROUGH TO DELIVERY (5%) – Define requirements for report templates. Work with cross-functional teams.

The experience you will bring:

Bachelor’s Degree
3 – 5 years of marketing analytics experience
1 – 3 years of experience with Adobe Analytics required
Familiarity with various Salesforce solutions (i.e., SFDC, SFMC, Einstein, Datorama, etc.)
Strong communication attributes, including the ability and desire to build trusted relationships

What will make you stand out:

Working experience with Tableau, Alteryx and/or comparable software solutions
Prior experience with structured query writing
Knowledge and application of statistics principles (e.g., hypothesis testing,
measures of dispersion, etc.)
Experience with journey mapping, lead generation, funneling, and benchmarking metrics
Ability to interpret and translate analytic outcomes to an intelligent but naïve audience
