Job Description

Summary:

Managing and overseeing project cycles (both Domestic and International), from project acceptance to project closure across the Electrostatic Product Line. Facilitates necessary internal and external meetings and prepare necessary status reports to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Maintains of all facets of projects assigned (commercial and technical). Within the scope of the job requirements; will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor related to project execution and cost management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

•    Managing and oversight of project cycles, from project acceptance to project closure. 
•    Monitors project profitability, revenue and margins. 
•    Plan and manage project activities aligned with industry standard project management processes and Forum ISO standards.
•    Individual will document project scope, develop record of project opening per Forum FPT ISO requirements. Guide overall project set up for the FPT team members. Document commercial aspects included liquid damages, document set and schedule, team deliverables and timing. 
•    Throughout execution coordinates with operations for vendor payments. Forecast revenue, profitability and gross margins per project in coordination with operations revenue and POC reporting.
•    Communicate regular status through high-level report for upper level management.
•    Assures project terms and conditions are signed off and available within the project record. Manages all bond and LC requirements with Forum treasury department. 
•    Defines (scope) and implement project plans in accordance with the customer’s needs adhering to Forum product design and project requirements. 
•    Develops and communicates project execution plan within FPT team kick off meeting. Coordinates the interaction with internal departments in the areas of procurement, production, sales, services and support. Communicates project-evolving requirements regularly to the FPT team.
•    Coordinate with team engineering for development of the project drawing and document deliverables. Takes the lead role for ITP creation and third party inspections in line with the project quality plan. Deeply involved in sub-vendor management for adherence to product standards and project requirements. Manages quality with internal and external resources in line with product design and project particulars.
•    Define and manage overall project risk identification and mitigation.
•    Individual will be responsible for creating initial RFQ or LOI of long lead items for eventual sub-vendor PO from operations side.
•    Individual will have oversight responsibility for all project document and drawing submittals to and from the client and other project participants.
•    Set-up and lead of all sub-vendor pre-inspection meetings.
•    Capture customer changes, work with product design and sub-vendors to obtain cost and delivery impact. Manage internal then customer approval for implementation. 
•    Will resolve and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
•    Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
•    Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
•    When travelling internationally and domestically individual will follow Forum travel policy.
•    May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 
•    Individual will be responsible for coordination and potential creation of all project export documents. Will direct needed government filings with suited Forum resource.
•    Individual will direct and coordinate project logistics in line with the project INCO terms.
•    Review of proposal stage cost plan and develop initial cost and cash flow plan. Coordinate with operations to manage project set up in ERP system.

Job Requirements

Skills/Knowledge

•    Proven ability to manage key business objectives in an ambivalent culture while at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests.
•    Proficiency with the following computer software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.  Microsoft Projects 2010.
•    Material Resource Planning software knowledge preferred.  Must quickly adapt to learning new software.
•    Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently, coupled with the ability to plan and perform work with minimal direction or supervision.
•    Excellent problem solving and resolution skills.
•    Excellent planning and organizational skills to include time and priority management.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven demonstration of effective and efficient interfacing with all levels of employees.
•    Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands, projects and priorities.
•    Must be able to read complex technical drawings as well as P&ID.
•    Technical undergraduate degree preferred, not required.
•    Knowledge of INCO Terms & USA Export Compliance
•    Knowledge of International Certification Types, IEC-EX, UL, CSA, CRN

Education

•    Technical undergraduate degree preferred
•    Project Management Institute PMP certification is helpful

Experience

•    At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, including equipment application knowledge, 5-plus years project specific execution experience.
