About the Role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a Sr. Project Lead to join our growing Direct Purchasing team. This role will serve as the functional SME & leader of Project Management for the Maple Grove Purchasing team. The Project Lead partners with our Purchasing, Planning team, & Business Process teams (& other functional teams as needed) to facilitate Purchasings projects, develop solutions/ enhancements, and drive standard work. Your Responsibilities Include:

* Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities across multiple functions, communicate to multiple levels, and form relationships/ trust quickly
* Drive development and refinement of the key Purchasing projects/ initiatives including communicating priorities, tracking project schedules, identifying risks and developing/ executing contingency plans
* Facilitate alignment/ prioritization of Purchasing initiatives between Maple Grove Purchasing, Planning, Business Process & critical functional partners regarding projects & standard work.
* Influence cross functional Supply Chain teams to reach best results through system and business knowledge base
* Help drive improvements of Purchasing core business processes including monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) hand-offs & SAP MRP/ i-Supply processes.
* Identify process improvement and system opportunities for site Management, network BPLs & Supply Chain / COE teams.
* Minor percentage of Purchasing/ PDP project responsibility

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
* Minimum of 2+ years in of project management experience
* Minimum of 3+ years of overall related work experience
* Direct experience in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing &/ or Production environment
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
* Knowledge of concepts & experience across the end-to-end Supply Chain production, Planning & ERP systems/ tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills; managing change; goal setting; project management and problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
* 3+ years of Purchasing/ Sourcing experience
* Lean Leader/ Six Sigma Certification and/or APICS CPIM Certification
* Experience with SAP is a plus
