What you can expect from the role
Implementation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting of all Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Workday
Provides technical guidance & support in the operation of Workday
Manage all change management requirements relating to Workday as required
Responsible for automating HR workflows within our system wherever possible - including creation of user-friendly processes, documentation and training materials
Collaborate with Workday and relevant technical teams to identify and resolve systems issues
Implement measures and efficiencies to ensure data accuracy and governance within the HR system
Provide and create robust reporting and insights for the HR Team and the wider business which may include compiling information for ExCo papers, HR dashboard, HR weekly highlights, WGEA annual filing, and others as required.
This role will also support the team with the HR annual calendar of activities and programs such as performance review, remuneration review, employee lifecycle such as promotions, parental leave and employee engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in HRIS system – Workday
Comprehensive Workday system administration experience preferred
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Sound understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
Demonstrated expertise with HR data analysis, metrics, reporting and presentation
Demonstrated advanced skills in Excel
Demonstrated passion for customer service
Strong problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking capability to resolve issues that may arise in technology and processes with a high-level attention to detail
Strong results orientation and a track record for delivering required outcomes and meeting deadlines
Good communication and relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to improve processes and procedures
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Project management experience
Degree in HR/Business with strong academic results preferable
Flexible team player willing to work on a variety of HR projects
