What Territory Management - Dist contributes to Cardinal Health
Territory Management is responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.

* Manages budget for own area and allocates resources accordingly, applying knowledge of profit drivers within own area/job family

* Assists in the definition of strategic plans for own work team/job family or key product(s)/service(s)
* Works with customers to anticipate and interpret customer needs and business challenges
* Identifies quality and service-oriented customer solutions and shares key learnings with others
* Resolves operational problems that impact the effectiveness of own area

Accountabilities in this role

* Administrative / Leadership accountability for 5 field sales people
* Quarterly & Annual sales budget responsibility
* Analyze and interpret sales / financial data to determine areas of need for territory
* Long and short term strategy / planning
* Business to Business negotiation
* Support account maintenance and prospecting activities
* Responsible for coaching, training, and developing talent

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in business or finance preferred
* Previous people management experience preferred
* Minimum 5 years healthcare sales experience
* Ability to travel 50 of time
* Strong planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills
