Job Description


In this role you will support the National Security business area as cost account manager (CAM) in the Electrical Engineering Directorate.  

Responsibilities:


•    Support initial program baselining efforts and resource loading. Control master schedule and budget for the electrical engineering subsystems
•    Serve as a liaison between electrical engineering and the program financial office
•    Provide oversight for engineering financial control and maintenance support of budgets including EVMS indices and Variance  
•    Lead Internal Baseline Reviews (IBR) to ensure projects have been properly baselined and have low risk of issue during execution
•    Conduct monthly reviews and generate variance reports
•    Support engineering in determining cost and schedule impact of technical changes and / or delays Tags

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM filed (ideally Electrical Engineering) with 5 yrs. of experience; OR a Master’s degree with 3 yrs. of experience; OR a PhD
2 years or more experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
2 years or more experience managing a multi-discipline team
2 years or more experience managing an engineering budget and schedule
Proficient in Microsoft Project
