We’ll be looking to you to manage ethics investigations around the globe relating to reports of violations of company’s Code of conduct or policies including reports of bribery, corruption, privacy or cyber-security breaches, antitrust violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, accounting, or audit concerns, fraud, conflicts of interest, and other ethics-related issues.  You will develop investigation plans, conduct interviews, provide legal advice and support the investigation protocol and timelines of the Ethics Office.  You’ll collaborate with other Legal teams and non-Legal teams to respond to ethics concerns and drive a culture of proactive risk management.  You will also be involved with the development of our Environmental, Social, and Governance Report and developing and/or leading ethic training and assist with Western Union’s DEI strategy.

For such a highly visible and vital role, you will have 3-5 years of experience in employee relations and ethics investigations within a law firm or multinational corporation. You will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.  You will have led complex investigations either within an in-house counsel or within a compliance function. You will have experience in handling very sensitive information with the utmost discretion and build trust and respect with employees at all levels. You will be a good listener who is objective and fair and fluency in another language is a plus.  Previous experience in agile working methodologies is also desirable.
