Job DescriptionPosition Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day operational and administrative activities at multiple schools within the district. Leads Supervisors to ensure conformance to contract requirements. Develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned schools. Oversees inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned schools. Performs the following duties personally or through other supervisory personnel.
Essential Duties
* Coordinate service activities for assigned schools. Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins.
* Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications. Schedule personnel for daily and periodic work.
* Interact with customer contacts daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs. Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
* Implement and manage the companys quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned schools.
* Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned schools.
* Attend / conduct safety meetings at least once a month.
* Develop operational improvement plans and implements process changes within assigned schools.
* Attempt to increase revenue by ensuring that Project managers and Supervisors are looking for ways to provide additional or periodic services to the customers.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state and local government regulations.
* Ensure all paperwork, including new hires, terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational models is complete and accurate and is submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner.
* Analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the assigned schools.
* Ensure that services order billing information is accurate and is provided in a timely manner to the appropriate billing personnel on a daily basis. Ensure that payroll / County timesheets are accurate and submitted to the appropriate payroll personnel in a timely manner and, where applicable, enters employees time into the Timeline payroll system.
* Basic mechanical skills, lift heavy equipment and able to trouble shoot mechanical issues.
* Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
* Adjust schedule based on business / customer needs
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree in Business or relevant education
* 3-5 years of project management experience or relevant experience required
* Janitorial/Facility Services experience a plus
* Mechanical experience familiarity with plumbing, carpentry, light electrical and preventative maintenance plans.
* Excellent communication skills required both verbal and written
* Must be highly organized, detail oriented and adopt a structure working method but with the ability to react quickly to change.
* Must be proficient with computer hardware and software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Must possess good interpersonal skills. Bi-lingual speaking preferred.
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple work-streams and ability to work effectively under pressure
* Customer focused, enthusiastic and flexible with an ability to find solutions to problems.
