Job Description:The ABM Shared Service Center is looking for a self-motivated individual who wants to grow and take their career to the next level. This person will be given an opportunity to have hands-on experience in the day-to-day transactional accounting function of ABM within a shared service environment.
In this role youll help the team
Perform month end close processes within prescribed timelines and with minimal supervision
Reconcile operating leases utilizing CoStar
Leverage experience and knowledge to provide support and guidance to junior staff
Review and approve monthly journal entries
Prepare and record asset, liability, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Work with all levels of management
Ensure revenue recognition is applied in accordance with GAAP (ASC 606)
Maintain and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, as well as resolving discrepancies
Ability to communicate, collaborate and provide excellent Customer Service to our FP&A partners and other internal/external customers
Job duties or responsibilities may be modified as needed to reflect changing priorities and/or work conditions with ABM.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Minimum 4 years general ledger accounting experience
CPA preferred
Knowledge of JDE Accounting software highly preferred
Ability to multitask, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word
