We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Based in Huntsville, AL, SCI Technology’s Advanced Technology Group, with a fast-paced start-up atmosphere plus the stability and resources of a Fortune-500 company, is seeking highly motivated Co-Op and intern candidates in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related fields to join our team and shape future products. Working with technology partners, we rapidly develop new products for a wide range of defense, aerospace, and commercial markets. Recent programs have included Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS, “drones”), commercial nuclear power plant safety systems, ultrafast laser monitoring systems, torpedoes, and high performance electric machines.
The successful candidates will be involved in a wide range of the product lifecycle, including developing and testing leading edge airborne and/or subsea systems not yet seen by the public. Depending on the individual’s background and interests, work will involve computer-based design and modeling, rapid prototyping of new designs with our in-house additive and subtractive fabrication capabilities and/or state of the art electronics manufacturing center, and testing of new designs of electronics and/or mechanics both in our development labs and in-flight.
