Manager, Corp Dev—Integration Leader

Job Description

OVERVIEW:

The Integration Leader will work closely with the Corporate Development team and a broad stakeholder group, including leaders across many business functions, to actively develop, execute, and lead the integration plans for individual acquisitions both pre-close and post-close. This role will report into the Integration Management Office within NCR’s Corporate Development organization. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of professionals in coordinating the work and executing the integration plan across multiple workstreams involving both business model integration and administrative integration.

Managing the challenges that inevitably arise.  Serving as the primary day-to-day leader for all things related to the integration and demonstrating “extreme ownership” of the integration process, communications, and protocols to be followed by all participants and executives.
Handling crisis as the unexpected happens.  Displaying the fortitude to react to problems as they arise and being decisive about how handle them to get the integration effort back on track.
Accelerating successful outcomes by helping the team manage the pace and momentum of the integration, identifying and pursuing “hidden gems,” and holding teams accountable for decision-making, deadlines, and deliverables.
Driving change by being directly involved in major issues to managing interdependencies, identifying problems, and then coordinating and communicating resolutions to all involved.  Proactively embracing change to get things done more efficiently and effectively where legacy processes impede progress and provide the energy to make the changes happen.

WHO HAS....

10+ years of general business experience in Fortune 500 companies
5+ years of corporate development, corporate strategy or involvement in strategic corporate initiatives experience
Bachelor’s degree from a top school
Demonstrated track record of cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and relationship building
Exceptional management skills, the ability to manage complex processes, and a desire to concurrently lead multiple teams and multiple projects
Strong negotiation, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge, skills, and ability to work in a collaborative distributed team environment
High maturity of diplomacy and ability to see and rationalize multiple points of view
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a diverse leadership team

EVEN BETTER WITH...

3+ years of successful experience leading M&A acquisition integration efforts
MBA or other advanced technical degree
Experience in the Hospitality, Retail, or Fintech Industries
Experience with managing multiple complex initiatives within the complete M&A life cycle
