VISTA Staffing Solutions, a fast-paced physician staffing company, is hiring for the position of MSP (Managed Service Provider) Consultant. This position is responsible for maintaining MSP contracts involving medical facilities utilizing healthcare staffing.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Establish consultative relationships with MSP clients, recognizing their needs and providing solutions to maintain the highest client satisfaction.
Develop and execute strategies for creating new business within MSP contracts and providing exceptional customer service.
Gather the necessary information to create descriptions that effectively market all open positions.
Serve as the main liaison between active MSP clients and internal specialty-based teams.
Build long-term relationships with MSP clients and understand clients’ staffing needs.
Effectively utilize the VMS platforms established by MSP clients for all intended functions.
Work with specialty-based teams to successfully match active providers with locum tenens opportunities that are appropriate to their skills, consistent with their interests, and profitable in the long-term for VISTA.
Respond quickly to new jobs, presenting providers who meet the clients’ criteria.
Be persistent, timely, and persuasive in your sales activities. Follow up with clients on providers presented for active jobs. Follow up with providers whose credentials have been presented for jobs. Secure commitments from both parties with enough time to put the assignment together in a high-quality, cost effective way (e.g. with time to get the provider a new license if necessary, or in time to book cost-effective airline tickets).
Quickly identify providers’ licensing and credentialing needs for an assignment and work with teams to make sure issues are resolved in time for the assignment to start as planned.
Once a job is scheduled, keep tabs on all logistical issues, including licensing, credentials review, travel, housing, and payroll. Do this by building and maintaining communication with recruiters, schedulers, scheduling coordinators, licensors, credentialing specialists, and pay-bill specialists.
Maintain appropriate margins for jobs by understanding and managing client and provider rates and any travel, housing, transportation, and professional liability insurance costs. Gain pre-approvals for reimbursable costs when necessary.
Maintain a work schedule that allows you to successfully reach clients and provider via phone. This requires some flexibility.
Master the proprietary VISTA computer application. Maintain an effectively prioritized follow up log that includes detailed notes from all conversations, emails, and faxes.
Participate in training and learn to represent VISTA’s business effectively.
Cross-train and have the ability to back up any member of the team when necessary.
Contribute ideas and feedback to management relating to company operation and conditions in the marketplace. Regularly study the staffing and healthcare industries to ensure competency and personal growth.
Collaborate with manager to maintain sales goals and review them regularly so you know resources are being deployed most effectively so you, your team, and the company achieve goals.
Interface effectively with other company departments.
Maintain consistent communication among all job functions.
Maintain confidentiality for VISTA, clients, and providers.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and sales preferred.
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software
Willingness to expand working knowledge of the locum tenens business and stay informed about market and competitive issues through research and professional networking.
Ability to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities.
Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
Strong organization skills.
Is positive, approachable, and a professional representative of VISTA Staffing Solutions.
Detail oriented, accurate, and excellent research skills.
Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
