In the Fund Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by:
• Preparing fund books, allocations, and bank reconciliations
• Preparing unaudited or audited financials, foreign filings, outside partner requests, etc.
• Preparing financial statements for audits
• Preparing fund tax documents and reports; and assist with the review of investor tax information reporting
• Gathering info for audit requests/research questions from auditors
• Calculating distributions to investors, including interest payable
• Review operations accruals, reconciliations and accounting support; and fundings and distributions
• Check investor statements to accounting documents
• Research investor questions and gather information

Requirements
- Fund accounting experience
- Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
- Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
- Current and relevant ERP system experience
- 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
- Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Strong communication and social skills
- Skilled at time management
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
- Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
