Job Overview/Summary
Under general direction of either a Program Manager or their associated Project Management leader, oversees IT projects, which require considerable resources and some level of functional integration. In alignment with industry recognized project management duties, takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Communicates with IT leadership regarding the status of specific projects.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible to coordinate and manage the major projects life cycle change requirements.
Responsible for overall program financial planning, budgeting, and accruals – Works closely with financial management team.
Manages the business outcomes/expectations by establishing and maintaining working relationships with business management, portfolio sponsors, service providers, and technology management.
Resource and capacity management including Project and Program Managers, Resource Managers and project delivery teams– both domestic and international.
Oversight responsibility for IT projects that range from $50K to $1M expense and capital
Responsible for coordinating & managing project deliverables and the project team members doing the work
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
Minimum:
· Experience in project management and IT industry experience
· Experience in managing medium - large international projects in a multinational/multicultural environments with multiple stakeholders
· Experience in using key methodologies such as SDLC and PMBOK
· Some experience in using PPM tool (e.g. MS Project, Sharepoint, Planview)
Desirable:
