Job Description Summary

As the Oncology Account Manager, you will be responsible for educating the market and selling Oncology Imaging products. Its an exciting position in a growth business, where we are bringing new tools to market that help clinicians solve some of healthcares toughest challenges. There is a large, growing unmet need in this space and this position brings new solutions to the oncology market.

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Oncology is a priority care area for us where we see significant growth potential for the use of Molecular Imaging to enable precision oncology. We have a foundation of established proprietary products and now plan to build on this significantly with the development and launch of a growing innovative pipeline of products that will enable better diagnostic decisions and clinical outcomes in oncology. We are also partnering with Pharma Companies and the research community to create companion diagnostic solutions that support patient selection and monitoring through the development of immuno-oncology therapies. These new roles will be critical to ensuring the successful implementation of our strategy, expanded portfolio and the added value offerings of GE Healthcare.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

* Create business plans for territory/assigned accounts including, but not limited to opportunity development and competitive strategies, in order to achieve orders and sales Operating Plan target for assigned accounts/territory
* Drive new product introductions and market creation activities
* Work both vertically and horizontally within matrixed organization to drive desired outcomes
* Engage with manufacturing and/or distribution partners to maximize mind share and promotion of GE products
* Lead complex and strategic sales including care pathway experience in large networks (IDNs) and direct local team on execution of plans; drive partnerships with Imaging Centers and influences demand generation with Referring Physicians
* Effectively use GE resources/approved product marketing/product promotion material to actively support the customer through their decision-making process towards a successful outcome for them and the GE business. Provide clinical expertise and product presentations to current and potential customers
* Master utilization of company provided tools such as; Showpad, IPAD, Salesforce.com, Microsoft tools, etc. to increase efficiency and provide others with visibility to territory
* Contribute to team success and culture, share best practices, provide peer coaching to team members who can benefit
* Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and GE

Required Qualifications:

* 3+ years in Oncology and/or Nuclear Medicine sales
* Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Healthcare related sales)
* Live within the designated territory and able to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel, and possess valid motor vehicle license

Desired Characteristics

* Experience in Molecular Imaging 3 SPECT and PET
* Proven sales success and adherence to sales practices and procedures
* Experience in sales and promotion to C-suite as well as technical and clinical decision makers 3 i.e. CEOs, Radiologists, Oncologists, Administrators, Nuclear Physicists.
* Competitive spirit and desire to create opportunities and hunt for new business
