GE Gas Power is looking for a senior Product Cyber; Governance & Process leader with domain experience in critical infrastructure, to provide governance leadership in maturing our product cyber program.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, working across business functions, including engineering, supply chain and enterprise security operations to strengthen our program while serving the business and our customers in the rapidly evolving risk and compliance landscape of product cyber.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the tactical and strategic aspects of Gas Powers Product Cyber security program. Interface with leaders across organizations from Sales support and response to engineering rigor in products and services developed for end customer integration and use in Power Plant design. Continuously integrate the tools and experience and tools of enterprise security to the design and development of end products.
* Establish operating rhythm and reporting of KPIs on program health, initiatives and evolving customer demands
* Establish and lead Gas Power product incident response (PSIRT) process for end customers. Integrate best practices and tools that reflect with business culture and ensure rapid response, remediation, and effective communication of incidents affecting the business.
* Demonstrate strong technical leadership skills, including solid, succinct communication of complex problems and analytical skills with thorough understanding of industry and end customer requirements
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills, ensuring consistent messaging and clear business direction of tools, metrics, strategy and results. Ability to prioritize and communicate to leadership driving clear understanding of business risk and plans to mitigate.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and present to executive leadership
* Lead tabletop exercises and penetration testing activities across multi-platform environments for engineered products and cloud-based solutions.
* Develop, optimize and govern the effective implementation of product security practices in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
* Institutionalize practices to identify and quantify product and portfolio product security risks
* Provide training, coaching, and expert consultation in secure development practices to the business and development teamsBasic Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or CSTEMD Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
* 5 years of experience in critical infrastructure and risk managementEligibility Requirements:

* Must be a U.S. citizen
* Must be available for on-call response in the event of a security incident

Desired Characteristics

* Knowledge of Energy Industry and GE Gas Power products & service
* Demonstrated skills in program management and reporting, KPI generation and lean principles
* ICS Controller development, configuration or application experience
* Familiarity with Cloud-based applications, PC/server based software, and embedded software
* Strong knowledge of secure development lifecycle and practices such as threat modeling, security reviews, penetration tests, and security incident response
* current knowledge of emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
