Executes all programs administered through the Associate Services area. Assists in identification and development of programs, services and discounts that meet associate needs and promote work/life balance. Associate is responsible for an established range of decisions and works with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements associate engagement activities for the Company. Works with committees for appropriate Associate Services’ events, includes planning and debrief sessions, and ensures quality program execution.
Thoroughly researches and presents ideas on potential new programs, discounts and services provided by the Associate Services Department. Provides input to manager regarding improvements and enhancements to current Associate Services’ programs and services.
Executes the implementation of changes or newly approved programs, discounts and services by establishing project plans and meeting all plan criteria.
Promotes all current and new offerings throughout Associate Services in a manner that will increase utilization and awareness of their value.
Performs web administrator duties for Human Resource websites. Ensures the accuracy and quality of all websites under responsibility.
Produces high quality written and oral communications to associates about activities/events offered through Associate Services.
Effectively manages the Company Store by practicing appropriate cash management procedures, maintaining detailed inventory controls, auditing results consistently and continuously focuses on store process improvement.
Verifies and balances Associate Services and Fitness Center budgets.
Maintains all pertinent Associate Services’ documentation and records, including meeting minutes, vendor materials and necessary reports.
Administers the Legion Service Awards Program by ensuring a high quality experience for all eligible associates. This includes partnering with the Company’s vendor on timely gift delivery and coordinating with the Payroll Department on the distribution of Legion cash awards
Identifies books and periodicals for the Company’s library, which meet the needs of the workforce and contributes to the overall business objectives of the Company.
Works with vendor to ensure the daily operation of the Fitness Center, and includes all sports leagues, ensuring quality offerings that are in line with the interests of our workforce.
Maintains bulletin boards in Associate Services and The Hub.
Coordinates flower or memorial donations in the event of death of an associate or an immediate family member. This service is offered for all Home Office, Field Office and District Office associates.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing high levels of initiative and a sense of ownership for work. Experience exercising good judgment and identifying, defining and resolving problems and collecting or intepreting data to establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Proven experience with innovative and creative approaches to developing engaging programs.
Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Expected to cite examples of organization and time management/methods used to manage or prioritize workload demands.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, accurate, focused and concise manner. Demonstrated ability to document procedures and activities in a manner that is understandable to others and prepared using a prescribed format. Possesses proficient proofreading and editing skills, demonstrating a strong use of the English language to include exemplary knowledge, in verbal and written format, of the elements of grammar, punctuation, diction and spelling proficiency.
Work Setting
This position works in an office setting and remains continuously in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer, in meetings, making presentations, on the phone or with other standard office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read a variety of correspondence, reports and forms, and to prepare and analyze data.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):
None required.
