Job Description

Sr. SAP Functional Analyst/Accountant will support the accounting team for ERP projects. They will work closely with our General Manager Enterprise Systems (Project Leader) to develop accounting requirements, design and assist with system builds, testing, and deliverables implementation for this new ERP system. This individual will need to be strategic and forward thinking and understand the implications/impacts of an SAP Implementation on the Accounting Group. This role is focused on GL Accounting and Financial reporting experience (more of a true accounting role). This person will be working closely with managers and directors.

Project: ERP - PeopleSoft is the current application supporting the General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables is being replaced with SAP and update its downstream systems, deliverables, and business processes accordingly. Changes require updates to HFM, HFR Reports, and SmartView Spreadsheets.

**This role is remote at this time, but in the future this resource will be required to be onsite once Covid restrictions lift**

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Sr. SAP Functional Analyst/Accountant who has exp implemented SAP, responsible for refining user requirements, developed test strategies, testing tools, test scripts, data requests,
developed training, performed testing, resolved defects, etc.
• Responsible for both functional end user testing and interface creation/testing.
• Technologies used by team – SAP – S4 HANA, ECC
• Strong Accounting (General Ledger) background and Financial Reporting Experience
• SAP Financials implementation experience is required
• Business Requirements gathering, understanding, and translating
• Education: Bachelors Degree
