POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, this position will provide administrative support to the Corporate HR Team. Accountabilities will include organizing and maintaining internal procedures, gathering and maintaining monthly reports, and collaborating with business unit leaders and support staff. Provide support for the Human Resources Department and provide professional handling of confidential material and information. Must be able to communicate with appropriate parties, coordinate with internal and external customers, and be able to handle a variety of problems and issues that require investigation, prudent decision making and discretion.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of college in a business related course is preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of administrative support experience required preferably in an HR function, with emphasis on HRIS, Benefits, and or Payroll.
• High level of skill/experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiar with database systems and various HR applications, experience with ADP a plus
• Fluent in English, oral and written, required
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish personal credibility with internal/external customers
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
• Ability to compose letters, forms, and reports
• Effective communication skills and must maintain professional handling of confidential matters on a daily basis
• Ability to adjust work schedule to meet business needs
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide administrative support to the HR Directors, Business Partner(s), HRIS and Benefits team.
• Prepare and maintain employee files for HR and Benefits records
• Create reports, forms, or other documents for Human Resource Staff where appropriate
• Daily monitoring of the Human Resources mailbox and IT provisioning application for HR related requests.
• Assist with recruitment efforts, by scheduling job interviews, dispositioning candidates, organizing resumes, as well as posting job ads to state websites for all locations where appropriate
• Assist with submission of necessary documents for employee actions
• Process new hire and employee transactions in HRIS system
• Assist with coordination of various HR related programs such as the college recruiting program
• Provide on boarding support
• Assist with management of company badging system
• Ability to maintain appropriate and successful peer relationships in a fast paced environment
• Assist coordinating activities associated with group meetings and office wide events
• Provide vacation backup for receptionist
• Support on boarding activities.
• Regularly communicate with supervisor work progress, questions or concerns

• Ensure reliable, accurate and timely HR recordkeeping while maintaining appropriate level of confidentiality
