Job Description

This role is responsible for enabling associates to drive Advisory Services managed solutions and relationships across the Fidelity client base.  This leader will have associates with a book of approximately 950 households. Their purpose is to lead these associates to help customers understand the benefits of our Fidelity Wealth Services offering,  Partner to find the best client solutions with the FCs we support,  increase client satisfaction, and reduce overall risk to the firm through compliance oversight.  This leader will need to help their associates adopt new ways of interacting with clients outside of the annual review.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Series 7 required and Series 65 or 66 as well as, Series 9/10 licenses are strongly preferred or must obtain once hired.
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to drive results with diverse groups of associates of varying tenure. FACT and Situational leadership skills a plus.
Create a meaningful and productive relationships with your associates
Understanding of financial planning and specific understanding of discretionary money management is a benefit.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactical plans is a key requirement of the role.
Effective coaching processes to drive accountability, results, and associate skill development.
Adept at using Salesforce and PASView
Drive retention of assets and uncover additional assets and planning opportunities to enhance client loyalty.
Control risk through compliance oversight, development of policies and procedures and personally handle client escalations, as needed.  Also will work with business partners to ensure resolution.
Develop improved working relationships with retail distribution network in their region, including Phone and Branch Leadership and business partners in their aligned regions.
Special Projects as needed to support overall efforts of the Advisory Services function and the Covington Regional Center as assigned by the Functional Leader or General Manager of the site.
Assist in development of department strategic and tactical decision making.

The Team

Role is responsible for a team of Advisory Services Portfolio Specialists in the Covington Regional Center.  This manager will be responsible for a large team of associates who have a relationship book of Advisory Services customers with over 250k in Advisory Services assets.
Responsible for the staffing and the development of the team.  Develop their client interaction skills to include a strong CSS process with client connection to build life time relationships.  Also assist them with book management, customer contact strategy, planning acumen and language ideas.

History of Fidelity Investments

The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.

Fidelity Investments Operations

The mutual fund division comprises three divisions – equity, high-income, and fixed income divisions.
