Job Description
Staff Accountant
Responsible for daily accounting postings in the accounting software for Travel Division. Includes preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and other day-to-day accounting tasks.
Responsible for interfacing data from the Travel booking systems, month-end reports and other duties as necessary within the department.
Examples of other duties include other department functions as they pertain to travel, supporting software updates, testing, process improvements and some training of staff.
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree in Accounting or related combination of education and experience, required.
Prior knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and an understanding of accounting principles required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.).
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
The ability to train and guide other junior team members.
Successful completion of Auto Club pre-employment assessments, background and drug screenings.
