As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
As part of this job, you'll be working alongside some of the best engineers at Amazon acting as a customer advocate. You would develop test plans that mirror customer usage patterns enabling faster defect identification. We are focused on launching a world class product which is reliable, scalable and highly performant, and we need your help to fail fast and improve iteratively.
You'll have opportunity to work with a variety of technologies across front-end applications and back-end services. In this role, you're expected to operate autonomously in ensuring quality of the product being a grey-box tester across various integration points, understand software internals, and derive diagnostic information from service logs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
? BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, engineering or other technical field
? 4+ years of software quality assurance engineering experience
? Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
? Experience with one scripting language preferably Java
? Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
? Experience developing test strategies, test plans and test cases
? Experience communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience with Selenium or other automation framework
? Experience with usability best practices; able to influence and improve user experience
? Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development and/or testing
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Familiarity with ReactJS, WebRTC, and GraphQL
? Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
? Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
