The Opportunity
The Outside Sales Representative will prospect, develop new business and use a consultative sales approach in an assigned territory to sell WestRock's corrugated products to clients and customers. The position will report to a Sales Manager.
How you will impact WestRock:
Develop a business plan for each account in addition to identify, solicit, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the territory.
Grow market share, product margin and book of business within assigned territory for our corrugated manufacturing plants in the assigned territory.
Prepare, organize and present customer presentations.
Coordinate use of other company resources (e.g. customer service, technical, plant operations) to provide value added services to accounts.
Provide analysis and information on sales forecasts, new business and budget preparation.
What you need to succeed:
At least 3-5 years’ successful and progressive sales experience maintaining major account relationships and meeting personal sales targets.
Ability to sell value added products and services across multiple products and divisions.
Sales experience with a quantifiable record of success in new business development, and sales goal achievement.
Proven prospecting, follow-up, and consultative selling abilities.
A strong business acumen, leadership skills, negotiation skills, conceptual and analytical skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Prior outside Sales experience strongly preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
Comfortable in navigating sales enablement technology and tools (SalesForce.com)
