We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a PG Regional O&M Manager for the WEC Infrastructure Assets, located in: South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, or Illinois.
Job Summary
The PG Regional O&M Manager will oversee several renewable energy sites in a regional area and shall manage plant management staff and will have overall budget and compliance responsibility for the sites in their region of responsibility.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee staff in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the facility in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Ensure compliance with all project safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities.
Responsible for budgeting, scheduling and execution of plans developed.
Train and manage plant operating, maintenance and administrative staff.
Promotes a workplace that encourages creative thinking, involvement, and diversity
Procure parts, materials, services, and support resolution of technical issues.
Perform routine Quality Assurance checks of wind technician work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business related field. In lieu of degree, the candidate must have 10 years of generating facility experience in a leadership role, including oversight of budgets and contracts
7+ years of relevant experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Provide effective formal management presentations of strategic business issues
Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints
Ability to maintain composure in dealing with all organizational levels including, executives, managers and supervisors, employees, training staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
