Responsible for the all mortgage loan volume throughout the assigned district outside the branches. Acts as an advisor to potential and existing mortgage customers. Maximize production with referrals from local builders, realtors and contractors. Ensure an exceptional customer experience is maintained with all potential and existing customers. Cross-selling other bank products is a key to maximizing production. Ensure all aspects of bank operations in regards to mortgages and equity loan and line closings are in compliance with all applicable state and Federal laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Sales - Maximize loan production through non-branch referrals and cold-calling. Increase loan applications from referrals of center of influences and existing customers. Cross-sell other retail products with every closed loan. Develop business outside of branch through realtors, homebuilders, relocation services,etc. All sales will come from non-branch referrals except for Construction Perm, Renovation Perm and Lot Loans. These three loans if uncovered inside the branch will still be referred to the MBO.
Ensure loan production goals are met each month. Meet the minimum requirement for cross-sell of other bank products at each loan closing. Contact each referral source once a week and make two new external referral sources each month.
Increase mortgage loan volume through effective selling. Cross-sell bank products at each mortgage closing. Advise customer on the mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances.
Become a leader in the community when it comes to mortgages and mortgage knowledge. Build and deepen relationships with industry-specific center of influences like real estate agents and contractors. Maximize the bank’s resources to assist in selling and establishing relationships.
Comply with all appropriate bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Always deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS, etc.) in Business, Finance, or a related field required with Three (3) years of consumer mortgage and home equity business management experience. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
