Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Business Planning
Are you looking to impact the financial plan for a multibillion dollar business? Are you someone that takes the time to understand the story behind why decisions are made? The Senior Financial Analyst position on our Corporate Finance team is an excellent place to learn from industry leaders and grow in your career!
Responsibilities:
* Play an active role in support of quarterly earnings releases and Board of Director meetings
* Work with CFO to create external financial guidance and help frame the story for Wall Street
* Review / summarize Wall Street consensus and reconcile to internal forecast
* Partner with Treasury on cash forecasting and long-term capital structure strategy, including analysis of buyback, dividend, capital budget, and debt
* Consolidate and analyze data related to the monthly, annual and long range budgeting and forecasting process, providing a consolidated view of the TJX Companies
* Build and maintain complex financial models to support corporate decision making
* Partner with Divisional teams on key business drivers to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company
* Regular Presentation to Senior Executives on budget, forecast and other business critical initiatives
* Complete ad hoc analysis projects with tight deadlines
* Synthesize conclusions and develop recommendations based on data captured
Requirements:
* 3+ years of finance experience within Investment Banking, Consulting or Corporate FP&A
* Bachelors degree in Finance or similar subject area, MBA a plus
* Proven aptitude with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills and experience building Wall Street / consulting financial models
* Willingness to manage multiple projects within a deadline driven environment
* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including high level of attention to detail and a willingness to lead change
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and experience presenting to senior management
* Experience communicating with individuals outside of Finance preferred but not required
