We currently openings across multiple shifts for Human Resources Assistants to work in our HomeGoods Distribution Center in Bloomfield. Play a critical role in supporting our Associates by processing payroll, assisting with new hire orientation and responding to Associate questions regarding various HR related issues. Responsibilities include:

* Handle the clerical/administration function within the HR department
* Oversee the payroll system, petty cash, and create payroll adjustments/increases as well as completion of calendar entries
* Update and maintain the HRIS to include personnel files, profiles, new hire paperwork, and personnel change status
* Respond to associate inquiries regarding HR related issues
* Complete employment verification and performs other duties as assigned
* Maintain high degree of confidentiality and have the ability to prioritize

Requirements:

* 1 2 years of customer service or office-related work experience required
* 1 - 2 years of prior Human Resources experience and exposure to Payroll strongly preferred
* Bilingual in English and Spanish
* Highly organized with strong written/verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask, and work effectively in rapidly-changing environment
* Strong PC skills a must

Shifts Available:

* Monday through Friday from 12:00p - 8:30p or
* Monday through Friday from 4:00p - 12:00a or
* Wednesday through Friday from 5:30a - 4:00p; Saturdays 6:30a - 5p
