What youll do on a typical day:

* Partner with business stakeholders to identify, refine and document detailed business needs and desired functional learning outcomes
* Facilitate classroom-based and virtual training programs
* Edit and update training content and support materials that are readily accessible to users, including job aids, e-learning modules, classroom training documents, etc.
* Maintain training curriculums and ensure workflow processes are adapted into the training; train employees at various levels within the company and support train-the-trainer sessions
* Evaluate current and emerging technology tools and platforms that allow for the efficient implementation of training programs
* Gather and document metrics related to training, such as attendance and feedback; document lessons learned to incorporate into future training efforts
* Provide remedial training and coaching as needed to ensure ongoing competency and effectiveness

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 1 year of instructor-led facilitation experience in a classroom and/or virtual training environment
* Knowledge of adult learning and management theories
* Awareness of the most up-to-date information related to training information, trends, techniques, technologies, processes, philosophies, etc.

Itd be great if you also have:

* Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Education, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Development or Psychology
* Availability to travel 20-30% of the time
* Experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain
* Supervisory/management or line business experience to enhance credibility and translate theory to practical application
* Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), XPO University and e-learning authoring systems
* Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with all levels of leadership
* A passion for helping others learn and a commitment to serving as a company advocate
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment; excellent time management and organizational skills
