As the Senior Director, Order to Cash, you will utilize your deep understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) leading practices, SOX controls and KPIs to lead the functional management and transformation of the OTC process across the supply chain business unit for the Americas and Asia. What youll do on a typical day:

* Review and evaluate team structure to ensure Order to Cash (OTC) efficiency
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of existing policies, processes and systems with a focus on standardizing and implementing best practices
* Evaluate existing systems and processes to reduce complexity and increase process efficiency and cycle time
* Maintain a strong focus on best in class execution; deliver short-term results and successes while moving toward a longer-term vision
* Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information; make actionable recommendations on both OTC strategy and operations and enable best practices and tool sets
* Oversee the management of workflow of the billing process and development of automation to increase accuracy and customer satisfaction
* Prepare monthly management reports, metrics and schedules, including budget, strategic planning and variance reports
* Manage cash flow and forecasting; develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs
* Participate in strategic projects to support business goals; build extensive industry and subsector knowledge and appropriately assess credit risk of each customer
* Effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate team to ensure growth in scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellence

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 7 years of experience leading a global shared services team with relevant OTC experience
* Experience with pre-sale, post-sale and operations; experience in a high-volume transaction environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications; ability to create complex formulas in Excel and quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications

Itd be great if you also have:

* MBA
* Solid understanding of general accounting and SOX controls
* Deep understanding of OTC leading practices and KPIs
* Change management and transformation experience with the ability to work through ambiguity and maintain accountability
* Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other OTC automations in billing, cash application, credit and collections
* 10 years of experience leading a large team in a collections organization
* Strong understanding of business processes including sales, operations, pricing and order-to-cash
