Job Description

Commerce Operations Manager

The commerce business at the New York Post is growing rapidly and we are looking for a jack of all trades to keep the team organized and help with all the initiatives the business is working on. Working closely with the VP of commerce, this role is multi-faceted and the position will also operate alongside colleagues from editorial, audience development, analytics, product, tech, sales, and more.

Responsibilities for this position fluctuate as the team embarks on new projects and initiatives, but some of the constants will include:

Partnerships:

* Help maintain and strengthen partnership relationships through partner communication
* Negotiate CPA increases

* Share pertinent information about commerce partners with writers and editors

* Work closely with our finance teams to ensure proper revenue collection and attribution

Content:

* Maintain spreadsheets to organize content inventory and work out an updating schedule and process
* Assist with content distribution throughout our websites, newsletters, push notifications, social media, and more

Operations:

* Provide support for ongoing initiatives for the commerce business and assist with launching new products
* Ensure linking and products are all working properly as needed

The position will be expected to keep pace with the busy newsroom and growing business, feels comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and thrive on seeing positive results.
