Position Summary
Support quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment with minimal guidance. Provide feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects. Author test cases/scripts. Perform test execution for both project and support related activities. Leverage technical expertise to develop maintain and execute automation tests. Identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage. Lead testing efforts involving coaching, mentoring, code reviews and contributing to improvements to frameworks, tools, processes, and best practices. Provide oversight to ensure automation test suites are well maintained and operational. Analyze requirements and provide feedback on completeness and testability. Provide accurate estimates for QA efforts including test case design/scripting, test data management, test execution, and defect correction. Provide ideas and feedback on test automation frameworks and opportunities to improve. Assist with building and maintaining test environments and driving their best use. Roving employee - Duties may be located at any Kroger Co. office throughout U.S. Telecommuting from home office is authorized for this position.

Minimum Position Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related information technology field
* 6+ years of overall experience in Quality Assurance and software testing
* 5+ years of experience: developing and executing automated test scripts for web and native mobile applications; working with automated test frameworks and test runners; and with continuous integration tools
* 3+ years of experience: with test case management and test case management tools; utilizing risk based testing techniques; and working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* 2+ years of experience: with defect management and using defect management tools; and managing test environments and test data; and
* 1 year of experience using SQL or other query methods to validate data changes in the database; and testing experience on cloud platforms
* Any Experience may have been gained concurrently
