Job Description
What you will do
Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers' product lines.
Note: In addition to Spokane, WA, Kennewick, WA or Lewiston, ID, candidates can be based in Coeur d'Alene, ID or Yakima, WA.
How you will do it
* Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections
* Identify and document deficiencies found during an inspection
* Follow and maintain an inspection schedule
* Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected ad-hoc
* Complete assigned inspections on time
* Perform other duties as directed
What we look for
Required
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* NICET II certification
* Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes
* Experience with hand tools
* Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
* Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
* Able to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirement
* Able to travel out of town ad-hoc
* Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures
